We visit Kuyucak every year, it is stunning. We bought some lavender from there and the vendor showed us how to propagate it. We now have around 160 lavender bushes. I would recommend it to anyone who can visit. It is very close to Isparta airport.

When we first come I grow 10 lavender bushes. Then put them some of them in the garden and they where enormous, some in pots on the balcony. We had to go back to the UK for long than we anticipated. The balcony ones had died, and the ones in the garden grew leg's.

mysterious-monolith found near the ancient site of Göbeklitepe in Turkey’s southeast province of Şanlıurfa was part of the advertisement of the National Space Programme.

The object, which was inscribed with the old Turkic script of Göktürk, was discovered on Friday, prompting a large number of people to flock to the area.

The Turkish Space Agency is a government agency in Turkey for national aerospace research, formally created by a presidential decree in Dec. 2018.
Well for the sake of the astronauts and other crew let's hope they don't program the project in ancient Turkic script.

Interesting article about Spanish inventions that have benefited the world. Worth 5 mins of your time. Chupa chups for one, olive oil pourers for another. . . .

Old school Mancunian fine dining arrives in Glasgow at last, can't wait to be set free from lockdown, this is the light snack version, we would have a steak and kidney pudding tucked in there as well for a main course.

It will be good news to many frustrated women and maybe some men ... when they clear the passage in the Suez Canal of the "Ever Given" mega-container ship stranded in Egypt’s Suez Canal.

As a ship carrying about 20 containers full of “dildos, vibrators and male masturbators” is among the over 230 ships stuck in the traffic jam as efforts to address the situation continue.

EDC Retail, a Dutch company, which runs the biggest online sex toy shops in Netherlands and Belgium, estimated that it is currently losing millions over the inability to replenish its stocks.

Evertine Magerman, the company’s chief executive officer (CEO), told RTV Noord, a Dutch news website, that several of their containers carrying sex toys are held up in the blockage.

“There are more than twenty containers full of well-running items, such as vibrators, dildos, and male masturbators. A lot of these products were sold for Christmas and Valentine’s Day, for example,” Magerman said.

“There is now an extra lot on the way to restore stocks. But that is not possible now. It is annoying that such a hitch will continue for a long time before the rhythm in the transport chain is restored.”
