Visiting Knidos
Just a bit of info re getting to knidos using public transport.

My sister and friend are staying with us at mo so visited the site yesterday.

The bus left Datca at 1030 am (stopping on the way to deliver newspapers etc), but it still only took one and a half hours. They then had a couple of hours to take a good look around but were advised to get the 1430 bus back as, after making a tel call, the driver was not sure if the later bus would be operating! This could be because the season is now drawing to a close??

The bus fare was 18tl return
Knidos entrance fee 8tl pp

A good value day out, highly recommended!

The bus was more or less direct, it didn't take the detour down to Palamut but did go to Sindi. I will try to attach some pictures taken from the bus!!

Have given up with the pictures, may try again later when I have more time??!! Oh, I did manage to attach 1!!!!!

Sorry, the ferry does not run throughout the winter. It normally stops early to mid october and then starts again sometime in May.
