I am with the "sore loser" brigade I have to say. I think it will stay with him, and not in a good way.

Republican Senators Acquitted Trump Because They’re Afraid Of Him

Not surprising coming from PoliticusUSA
LEFT BIAS
These media sources are moderately to strongly biased toward liberal causes through story selection and/or political affiliation. They may utilize strong loaded words (wording that attempts to influence an audience by using appeal to emotion or stereotypes), publish misleading reports and omit reporting of information that may damage liberal causes. Some sources in this category may be untrustworthy. See all Left Bias sources.

Overall, we rate PoliticusUSA, borderline extreme Left Biased in wording and editorial positions that always favor the left. We also rate them Mixed for factual reporting due to a failed fact check as well as frequent misleading one sided commentary and occasional poor sourcing.

Easy to attack the media - not so easy to refute the facts.

I can't see any attack on the media and likewise if a member posts a link from
Breitbart or RT today I would expect that someone will point out that those publications are biased

Yes, I would point out that those media are biased and I would give reason as to why 'facts' have been twisted.

Please show me where in #5 there are any facts you would dispute.

Or do you not agree that Romney is an honourable man and that Trump should be made accountable for his actions?

If he is so honorable why did he wait until the last moment? I gather he or his underlings were making noises to the Republican office that he was going to toe the line right up until he didn't.

There is nothing in #5 that can be described as FACT they are merely headlines or an opinion by an extreme Left Biased media outlet

Now if all the Republican Senators were made to swear an oath before the Supreme Court of the United States and were asked the question did you
Acquitted Trump Because you were afraid if him and in the unlikely event they all stated Yes then that statement would be fact.

As to the question is Romney is an honourable man have to wait and see if he gets relected again

Nothing dishonourable in deciding to do the honourable thing & placing his whole political future on the line.

Maybe he should cross the floor, he doesn't fit well in the subservient GOP crew.

I think Romney will call it a day to be honest, he is no spring chicken now at 72, but as you say we will have to wait and see.

Re: US Elections

I don't agree with Mitt Romney policies in anyway ... but admire his courage to actually stick to his Constitutional oath where Senators are meant to serve and represent the American people before the Party, leader and President.

He has been loyal to the Party he joined by voting for Trump and Party policy 80%.

So to watch the attack ads against Romney for doing his duty . The attack ads saying Romney was a traitor and a Democrat asset being put out by Trump just shows Trump as if we didn't know is the smaller man ...in fact an excuse for one

Attack ads shown....

Re: US Elections

Worth pointing out, he only found Trump guilty on one article of impeachment, it was a not guilty from him on Congress obstruction.
Nonetheless, I think he’s history.

Trump says Congress should 'expunge' his impeachment

"Trump has emerged from his victory in a furious mood, describing his Democratic opponents as "evil."

The Republican minority leader in the House of Representatives, Kevin McCarthy, has said that if his party wins back control of the chamber in the November general election it will seek to overturn, or expunge, the impeachment.

Trump also turned his anger on the Democratic speaker of the House, Nancy Pelosi, who demonstratively ripped up a copy of his State of the Union speech in Congress on Tuesday after Trump delivered it..."

IMO they should have gone for tax evasion, now many good heads may roll.

Re: US Elections

The US Ambassador to the European Union and the White House's top expert on Ukraine have been removed from their jobs after they testified against Donald Trump during the president's impeachment trial.

Top diplomat Gordon Sondland, who delivered some of the most damning testimony in the impeachment proceedings, issued a statement on Friday saying he was being recalled from his post by the president.

Mr Sondland, a wealthy Oregon hotelier, was a Trump political donor before being named by the president to his ambassador post.

Gordon Sondland has been recalled from his post as Ambassador to the European Union
Mr Sondland told the House of Representatives impeachment inquiry in November that the president sought a "quid pro quo" with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy.

It came just hours after Army Lieutenant Colonel Alexander Vindman was escorted out of the White House on Friday where he had worked on the National Security Council (NSC), his lawyer, David Pressman, said.

Re: US Elections

Totally out of order for a nations leader to sack or remove individuals from their posts....unheard of, completely illegal, impeach the man.
