Turkish Boat Loans

Would be very pleased to hear from anyone that has applied for or received a loan from a Turkish lender for a boat, yacht, etc

You may find that difficult in case we borrow the money and do a bunk! they do not like lending to Yabanci's for that sole reason.

I hear you can now get a loan for 70% of the purchase price of a yacht from Turkish Mortgage Centre - provided you have a Turkish property to use as collateral.

Does it have to be registered in Turkey to get the loan? If it does watch out for the HUGE taxes payable on Turkish registered vessels! (assuming the engine is over 9hp
