Thats mostly what we watch these days, the Finnish series are particularly good. There is a Turkish series starts tonight, 50M2 will report back on it.If anyone doesn't mind sub titles and French the 'Spiral 'series is brilliant. No: 1-8.
Also many of the Nordic noir series are also brilliantly executed.
Just downloaded and watched the first episode."Code 404". A British Comedy/Crime Drama. Absolutely loved it, both me and my wife (which is usual to say the least). Only prob for me was there only 6 episodes in the First Series, and they were only 25/28mins long. Great Stuff. 9/10.
I'm surprised at that! Isn't it a post-colonialist racist trope to suggest that the local police are incapable of solving local crime and have to draft in a white Londoner?????Death in Paradise is quite fun.....into its 10th season now.
A detective inspector is transferred from London to the island of Saint-Marie in the Caribbean.
Yes, we have seen a couple of these, the constant time changes are a bit of a bore though. ( 4 months earlier, 8 months later etc)We watched The Serpent (6 or 8 episodes, I think) Based on true events about a man murdering and stealing from back-packers in the Far East. Worth a watch, I think.
Where was it broadcast? beeb? Netflix?Just downloaded and watched the first episode.
Good family fun & (mostly) free of eff words & the endless shoot outs.
Very watchable.
