Thoughts on Gumusluk
Just back from a fantastic two weeks in Gumbet. Went to Gumusluk for a trip out. Had a walk along the bay and went up to the natural hill pyramid and looked backover to the bay great view. Walked back and had lunch, fish cooked and tasted very good, made sure we asked price before we ate, was not cheap but very very good.Nice for a trip out but a little quiet for us.What do other people think of Gumusluk?

we like gumusluk tranquil and relaxing , restaurants a little expensive but a nice quaint village and in the peak of season find waiters a little pushy (my pet hate), i take it you were in a hotel in gumbet ?, if you travel around the bodrum peninisular you can find some very good fish restaurants which are not as expensive and is best if there is a published menue, any thing special, as you did, ask for the price first, if you are villa renting go buy your fish from the market and cook your own or better still wrap fish and herbs into tin foil and bbq uummmmmm fanastic especially whole fresh prawns done in garlic tomatoe and herbs or spices.
Just out of this world.
Or bbq some alidile or crocagator steaks they are lush.

Agree Gumusluk is a lovely relaxing place to go to, always enjoy mooring off there on our boat trips and have lunch on board the boat. Not really explored the area past Fenerci's opposite rabbit island, there is a shingle beach and a walkway through there, must have a walk next time we're there.
