I wanted to send PM's to all those of you who posted good luck and best wishes for me yesterday, but it would take forever and a day and nurse says i spend too long on here as it is.. :30:
So instead I'm taking this opportunity to thank you all publicly... With out your kind messages over the last week or so i really would have been under a cloud, you kind thoughts have boosted my confidence and will to win immensely.
I feel so close to some of you now and your PM's really cheer me up... i will find the time to reply to them all as soon as i can, or should i say as soon as no one is watching... pity my keyboard isn't silent, the tapping gives me away..Lol.
I slept in fits last night, though that's nothing unusual, quite a bit of pain and so much on my mind, your messages ringing in my ears, and thoughts of the future without the alien inside me and a bit less colon.
Breakfast was mashed banana, my choice.. two of them, i don't think i could have coped with anything more despite being famished, and soup for lunch though not too hot, not sure it was meant to be, this is not 5 star cordon bleu food.
Bloods were taken just now and my drips changed... i might make it to the little boys room tomorrow if the bag comes off ( Number ones ).

Soo i hope things went well for you today with your Chemo, you seemed pretty pissed off from your posts.

Pebble, if you read this, thinking of you, hoping you're as well as can be expected, you too don't seem to be able to sleep too well judging from your posts today.

Chemo went ahead for me today which I was pleased about. The 2 bone marrow jabs obviously pushed up my WBC. I was pissed off that they told me to stop them, giving me a low WBC.
However, it was a toughie and at one stage I had to succumb to oxygen as I was having breathing difficulties - I could understand it if the gorgeous Dr Musty had been there

I,m now confined to barracks for the next 4 days, loads of time to catch up on stuff.

Hi Soo, so happy you're OK.... glad to hear you're under orders to rest, you clearly need it the odd hours you've been working..

I hate sharing information about myself but I find my self giving away parts of my life in the hope that someone worse off than me can benefit from it, I look for members names and still get excited when a thread I started gets a debate going, little did I know that TLF was more than an information forum it is a family and I will always promote it to the hilt as I am very proud to be a member.

The support given to my wife Linda and the look on her face when I read out the messages will live with me for ever.

To all that are struggling and all that are hiding it, be safe and be well but make sure you tell us or you will still be fare game for the usual p@ss taking and wind ups that make this family what it is.

Alan, glad all went well. I'm surprised if they're letting you lie around still, your nurses must be a lot kinder than the one's I had as they had me up and out of bed the same day!!!!!

Soo. Hope you get a great benefit from being confined to barracks for 4 days to make up for it!!! At least you can spend more time with us!!

Good morning Emmy.... they let me out of bed, but they wont let me wander too far, the trip to the toilet is one i can do blindfolded now, i think they've got me tagged..Lol.
I woke early this morning, slept a little better last night though, more bloods taken and my wee bag is coming off this morning.
Feeling a little better, the pain is worst at night... i hope to get something solid for lunch today, ordered jacket potato and baked beans for lunch.
My fav nurse ( not Hattie ) is going to escort me to the shower shortly so i cant wait, i asked if she'd scrub my back for me but she declined.
Hope to be back later and answer some more PM's.

Thank you everyone for your kind wishes.
I felt a bit iffy last night, and managed to get to sleep about 3am which is good going for me after chemo. Once the steroids kick in I become really hyper. I,ve been known to be cleaning my bathroom at 3am before now.

Woke up feeling quite good, and I.ve been pottering around. Now about to have some home made soup.

Good morning folks,
I woke feeling pretty good this morning, my bloods seem OK and i slept pretty well, looks like i could be out of here Tuesday at the earliest... been for a stroll, got a newspaper, had a bit of breakfast and thought I'd log on and see whats happening here...
I'm feeling a little depressed and sick now though having read some of the threads... " dog worms", "lets put down all the dogs in Turkey", threads going off on a wild tangent and back biting... Why it has to happen i really don't know and i dont know about anyone else but it gets me down.. i give up looking at the thread after a while because i see the same names repeated, i think to myself.. " I'm not gonna look, there's clearly some bickering going on there".
Anyway... i want to get outside, the sun is shining and there's cricket on the telly... I'd rather be sat in the sun, with a cold beer watching the cricket... I'm gonna chat up the nurse and see if she et me sit outside.

Good Morning Alan, thinking about you and good to have an update from you, Friday and yesterday must have been your roughest days, you sound in good spirits today though. It's a nice morning here too, going to get some rays myself in the garden later. I hope that you continue to recover in this good feeling way pet. Yes some threads get a bit heated, but like you, I try not to let it spoil my fun on TLF. We're all different, that's what makes it. You enjoy the fresh air, and the cricket....................... a bit depressing this Test, but it's not over yet eh.

Im not a cricket fan , too many Sundays spent at the cricket ground when I was a kid , didn;t matter where Dad took us for a drive we always ended up on some village green watching cricket, boring !!
