Thanks to Oracle/car wash

Should have posted this before but somehow the days just fly by....

We arrived on Saturday 12th Sept. Got to our apartment and Pete spent 10 minutes trying to open one of our suitcases before realising it wasn't in fact one of ours! He had grabbed a similar case off the turntable thingy at the airport. Anyway, to cut a long story short, he went to the Oracle office on Sunday about 10.30 a.m. and explained. They picked the case up from our apartment and returned our case from Bodrum airport by 4.30 p.m. that same day. So thanks to Oracle for that. He couldnae even blame the Efes, ha, ha.

Also, just been told today by Caan (security guard), that the site that has been cleared and a cement floor put down on the left hand corner of the road before you cross to go up towards the school, is going to be a car wash.

Weather still lovely and not too hot now (which suits me) and cooler at night.

Nice to have met up with lots of familiar faces here since we arrived and caught up with all the news. Looking forward to seeing you all again.

Any sign of the painters yet? Or has anyone heard when they are likely to arrive?

We are going out on 9/10/09 for a week so we'll try to find out when they might start (if they haven't already)

Hi Sarah,

No sign of the painters yet but we had been told they wouldn't appear till the end of the season which we took to mean after the end of this month.

Happy to tell you that the weather is lovely, hot and sunny, so you will be able to get some sunbathing in. About 20 or so of us here at the moment.
