Sea fishing!!
Hi Richazed,
Only been fishing off the rocks, caught a few but nothing that big.Be careful how you handle them as there are a few that can deliver quite a sting!!

Once fished for about 3-4 hours with nothing to show was using my own gear from home, off the bottom, float and spinner!!!then this local kid started fishing beside me with an empty coke bottle with line wrapped around and a hook that looked like he made it,he filled a migros bag in an hour .
This year have had a rethink and am going to try out with very light line.

tight lines ,
Alan

Looks like you had a good days fishing there. The fish in the top picture look lke dorada or dolphin fish (nothing to do with the cuddly flipper type).

The nasties look like puffer fish.

I have only caught barracuda off of Dalyan and had a large sea bass on once (the one that got away!!!) but I am sure there are other types of fish out there.

Thank you V6cod I'm really bad with the names

I am always amazed by the variety of fish that the villagers catch
We also have visits from Dolphins, the flippered type, although I havent
managed a sighting yet! I get emails from a friend in the village with
photos attached saying abla the Dophins are here, where are you?
still .....one day!

OH!MY GOD that looks enormous you are right I don't 'want to come face to face with that, think I'll go along for the picnic..
I believe barracuda's kill more people than sharks almost too afraid to ask are the waters safe around Altinkum?
