I had to stop running when my joints started to hurt too much, a few years ago, or I'd have gone with you. The early morning always suited me, a great way to start the day.
An easy thing to make fun of, though if you've ever been into running you'll know how great it feels. I miss being so physically fit, though still go for long fast walks, its not the same as running.
I ran the same in distance when over in Turkey as my route in the UK, which for me from our place behind Saray restaurant, was down the blvd, along the prom a few times, then back up the hill to the first roundabout and then home. I made it work out to four and a half miles. I tried to run a little quicker each day, just to give me a target, or at least match my quickest time.
Its easy to see why athletes train in hot climates, my times were always so much better when I got back from TK.
Interesting Stuff Ezhik. At 60 years old I am not without my aches and pains but last saturday managed to complete the Benis Nevis Fell race for the 5th time. last year completed the Lakeland 100 which is a 105 mile race with 20000' climbing in 31 hours but failed to finish this year after 82 miles
I just feel doing some exercise on holiday compensates for the extra beer and food.
offer is still open if anyone fancies running starting next Tuesday morning.
Also does anyone know if Alistair still does the keep fit classes?
