Prepaid Air Con
A friend of mine who owns a property in Spain has recently had a new air con unit installed that will only work by card that has credit on it. A little like a pre pay gas meter I think.
He gives them the card with 10 euros worth of credit which they need to insert into the unit. Once the credit has been used funds need to be added to the card in order to use the air con again.
This would be ideal especially for rental properties. We all know what people can be like, leaving the air con on 24/7 with the windows open. Has anyone seen anything like this out in Turkey?
