Interesting what lord sawyer had to say about the management style, I hear the same thing from all the people i know at Royal Mail.
Linseys dad was a pretty senior manager at RM he left about 15 years ago, i am going to ask him of his take on the current management style, i detect similar styles at BA.

We have a company policy not to use Royal Mail (Parcelforce) for parcel deliveries because they are so unreliable and irritating.
