Main post office

Just been told that the staff in the main post office in Bodrum walked out en-masse about a fortnight ago! Thought it was strange that we hadn't had all the parcels we were waiting for! Now they are training new staff so don't expect to be receiving any mail for a while by the sounds if it, a friend went passed last week and the queues were all the way outside and down the street.

Has anyone been there in the last fortnight??

We wouldnt have noticed...our postie is a bit too laid back. He comes through the gate, throws our mail up onto the bacony...which is usually picked up by our toddlers, who think its a game and throw it back again...! We find letters in our garden a week later...or worse, half a mile down the road..!

Hopefully will be resolved soon.
