Does any body know what type of boats are allowed on the lake .

I understand you need a special Lake license to use a boat there .

The reason i am asking is i would like to have a small boat there .

Outboard engines are banned, unless you are the police boat.

As you state a licence is required to keep a boat on the lake.

people do ignore it though, i have seen a few speeding across the front, some people dont care about the damage they do to the environment or to the life that live in the lake.

We took an electric engine over last year as hand luggage and
tested it on one of the Dalyan boat corporation boats for a turkish
friend who was interested, ideal for the lake and cheap to run

Is that an electric outboard motor would'nt hat still be illegal.

I think the reason is pollution and noise the eletric motor is almost
silent and of course no pollution, the captains were quite impressed
we put it on a small day boat and it moved it quite nicely
We're using on the sea in Sogut, but I would it would be nice to use
it on the lake at some later date

Yes I think you need to test it on the lake with a couple fishermen onboard
Possibly in August.lol

We own (well we better had) a boat that is moored on the lake and we never had to have a licence to use it there.
