The knife in question had been recently washed with bleach - not something you would normally do with a household utensil, without reason.
Also, it was interesting to note that Knox, during her closing address to the Jury, at no point, stated that she did not kill the victim, whereas Sollecito was very clear that he was innocent of that crime.
Sometimes it is as important what you don't say, as what you do.
Knox also (allegedly) made an admission of guilt, when in Police custody, but later retracted it, saying that she had done it under duress. She also altered her version of her whereabouts on the date concerned, stating she was/was not at the murder scene house.
Until an appeal, if any is lodged, presents more compelling evidence, I will trust the findings of the Jury/Judges, who are the only ones to have heard and considered all the evidence and reserve my compassion for the Kercher family, who have behaved impeccably and with great restraint, during these proceedings. They have lost their daughter in brutal circumstances (strangled, suffocated, stabbed) and deserve all our thoughts at this sad time.
