Weren't they formed by a management buyout when XL ceased trading? At the minute you can't get onto their website.

think they fly to spain/greece/turkey-formed in 2008 by ex directors of XL like you say

Kiss offered flights and accommodation to Greece, Turkey, Egypt, Cyprus, the Canary Islands, Spain and Portugal. It had been bought a couple of years ago by a sports specialist Flight Options. For a little more info. look at the flights 2010 and 2011 thread

had return flights with Kiss 2 weeks ago to Egypt, was a good service.
they effectively took over the routes left by XL when they folded.

each time an airline folds it can only drive up the prices of those remaining :-(

I rebooked with Kiss after Goldtrale folded but luckily I flew 2 weeks ago. My tour op was rebooking all Goldtrails flights through Kiss so now some passengers are going to get a double whammy.

Remember Excel Airways who went bust 2 summers ago? I remember reading in the Travel Trade Gazette not long afterwards that the Excel Chairman/Top guy set up Kiss airways very quickly afterwards.... shows what lack of business acumen this guy has as another company he ran hits the wall...

OMGGGGGGGGGGGGG !!! this year has been a nightmare for us. April was ash cloud leftus stranded 5 days. July 16th goldtrail we lost both July and October flights which I rebooked both Kiss (thankfully got there and back on July flights) now I see I lost the October flights again GRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!

Helpppppppp plz anyone know any good sites to get Midlands or North west airport flights from for 2nd week of oct for 7 - 9 days to Dalaman I need like 5 seats asap without having to find another cart load of money.

A relatively more reputable company to use would be to use thomas cook
Fly Thomas Cook | Cheap Flights - Offers & Deals Online
they fly from Midlands (B'ham, East Mids) and Manchester

and to fly say from MAN> DAL looks at £95.99 one way (returns are always more e.g £150 -thats how they make their money!)

I'm sure you can find cheaper, but just quoting Thomas Cook as an airline that does fly to the destination you are looking for in October.

weird - I never find companies like Goldtrail, Agean, Kiss or even Thomson when looking for flights

I went with Turkish Airlines. I must say the service was great, plenty of seat space and legroom, proper hot meal in the old style and no worries about cancellations

perhaps if more people went with them the prices might come down

I booked through airflights and they were best on price. They gave me both October ones that I have now lost this year. They also gave me the kiss flights I got last minute in July to save us losing our complete holiday the week before we were due to go (by gave I mean the best prices given)
Turkish airlines I cannot find flights to Dalaman from Man, Bhx,Lba, Ema or Doncaster. And needless to say flythomascook have increased there prices almost double in the last 12 hours.

I guess its down to where you fly to

THY go to Istanbul where you transfer to a domestic flight (still THY)

good old Thos Cook eh? making profit from the misfortune of others.

crystalclear, I don't have a magic ball, but in April TC and thomson wacked thier flights up after the cloud only to drop them a few weeks later. I got our May half term flights for £100 each (thomson) so it may pay to wait a few days.

Be aware this with flythomascook - I have just booked flights with Thomas Cook for October as they were £40 cheaper than flythomascook for the same flights! Flythomascook is an agent for Thomas Cook and add on their bit. When I printed off my tickets they say Thomas Cook - Flexible Trips. I have always flown booking through flythomascook in the past but in future I will always check both web sites. I fly from Bristol to Dalaman and Thomson also offers cheaper flights than Thomas Cook however you effectively lose a day due to return flight time.
