Maisie that would be very expensive. Try looking at Pegasus internal flights to Bodrum from Sabiha Gocek. Or maybe travel by coach but will take about 11 hours or more

Or if your flying from outside of Turkey, then maybe flying to Izmir would be an option, and get a transfer from there.

Maisie,

Is there a particular reason you are flying to Istanbul rathar than direct into Izmir or Bodrum?

The transfer time from Istanbul - Akbuk will be in the region of 9 - 10 hours
Izmir - Akbuk is around 2 hours and Bodrum - Akbuk is around 1 hour.

An internal flight from Istanbul will be quicker and cheaper.

Our Turkish Neighbours travel from Istanbul to their holiday home in Akbuk by coach they said.
It takes them (like someone stated) 9 to 10 hours.

Hi Yogi - just punting around at the moment. Can't get a direct flight from a London airport into Bodrum in January. Direct to Izmir is more expensive than Istanbul. However, can fly to Istanbul and then on a connecting flight to Izmir. Didn't really want to do that, but looks as though it might be a cheaper option. Also, I don't think I like the time on the road from Istanbul.

Thanks to all who have answered here. Maisie

If you are coming on the Pegasus Flight from Stansted, there is a connecting flight to Bodrum, very quick turnaround between flights but only a short distance to walk and on to the next flight, they give you Boarding Pass while you queue for Visa/Passport control. All quite simple and straightforward. No time to visit Dutyfree though!

Hi Moggycat - just checked the website. Pegasus are not offering the connecting flight to Bodrum in January. Thanks anyway. Maisie

B A are selling Gatwick to Izmir £99 each way. Then you should get a transfer for about £20.
Not too bad

Sorry about that Maisie, we did that flight beginning of February this year and thought it was good, once we got to Stansted, it was the day the snow came down! Maggycat
