I am a local from Turkey, living in a small town between Antalya and Konya.
I came across your web site while surfing on the net, for different reason.
I read some threads and I realized not only expats, but also natives have misknowledges. Anyway, I am not here to correct such things. But, I will say one thing only that percentage of muslims is not 99% as some natives of turkey, government, cia fact site, etc etc have claimed. It is less than 50%. 99% is due to automatic printing of ID cards. My some fellow natives will object this, I know. But, I can convince them if I stay here more in other relevant topics. Anyway, to see why I am here, you can read my thread in "doing business" room.
