Good day to all members.
We have exchanged contracts on the sale of our UK home with view to emigrating to Turkey as soon as we can get into the country.
We have been looking at all possibilities whilst we wait on completion at the end on Jan.
As UK residents are still at present allowed to travel to Kos or Rhodes (with clear PCR tests)
then we were hoping to get across to Bodrum, but no ferries at present.
I found flights listed from Kos to Bodrum (indirect) but cannot confirm they will be operating plus the issue of getting further PCR test done in Kos/Rhodes
so we are still investigating all possibilities.

Very interested to learn which air carrier is flying between Greek islands and Turkish mainland...

From Rhodos the Closer Ferribot destination is Marmaris, from which you also have a wide selection of desirable locations to consider for life style...

And the best dry wintering marina in the Eastern Med...

And hopping a bus gets you to nearby Koyegiz, Dalyan, Dalaman, Gocek... and further ...Fethiye...

And a Ferry from Rhodos gets you to Kastelorizzo from where you can hop a ferry (or swim) to Kas and reach nearby Kalkan, Kale, and Demre...

Of course a flight from Samos connects you to Ferries to Kusadasi...

And to Chios connects to Cesme, Alacati, Izmir...

Mitilene to Ayvalik, the Bright White Sugary Sands and Deep Blue Seas of Sarimsak, The Sea Hounds of Foca, etc

Or fly to Thessaloniki and bus it to Kavala and from there you can hop onto the main ferry route that runs down through all these places and more through out the Dodecanese...

Dont know about lockdon situation...
Greece are officially banning non-essential travel around Saloniki... but also officially welcoming tourists within their 'framework'... so the Greek embassy mfa,gr is the place to obtain info

Thank you all for the Welcome and advice.
We are Buying in Bodrum area. but happy to travel anywhere to get us into Turkey.
I will further investigate all routes suggested.
