I'm aware of how the "Google Money Machine" works. But it might be worth an explanation for other members. (Don't start a poll to ask how many know, don't know, or don't care. :lol

I can't remember the last time I bothered to click on a Google ad. It's got to be at least a year. Sorry Mushtaq ! :wink:

The majority of the ad links that appear on pages only seem to have about 1% relevance to the page I'm viewing, and if I was even vaguely interested in the product I would have searched for it properly through a search engine.

Or, maybe I'm looking at the wrong kind of pages to start with ?

This money is split between Google and the owner of the website displaying the ad when it was clicked.

So folks, if every member that logged on to the site clicked on just one Google Ad a day, Mushtaq would make "shed loads of dosh" towards the running of the forum ? :3:
