Currently waiting in a queue to speak to someone from Goldtrail, anyone esle had the same problem. I booked flights for Boxing Day and every time I book I pay the full amount on Barclaycard, this time they just took the deposit, hence the need to phone them today. 10p per minute is mounting up, at least I am now in position 3 in the Q. Hope I don't have to pay a surcharge again on card!

Hi,

We have had this situation. Apparently they only take the full amount closer it the date of flying. They will take the rest later. It confirmed this on the confirmation they sent, giving the date it will be taken. We only paid one credit card charge.

Finally got through, seemed to go from position 3 to 1 quickly, poor girl on other end must have been so busy. did have to pay surcharge for balance but told that it is a percentage anyway so would have been same if I had paid full amount. What the hell at least we will be "home" for New Year.
