Forum upgrade notice

Mushtaq. I don't think you can edit whilst viewing in preview ...I am sure you could before, before posting ????

This has changed, as the previous Preview wasn't actually a preview but a full editor, in this system the reply is the full editor and you can do everything in here.

A nice feature is the SPOILER tag, this lets you add content that is hidden until you click the button to view it, can be useful to have item hidden so the post not cluttered.

How do you make the normal posts page your homepage clicking home isn't working

The Home button takes me straight to Forums.

If there is no home page then why the Home button?

As is the Forum button so surely the Home button is superfluous.

There will be some changes coming to navigate the forum better soon as I can allocate some more time to the task.

I wanted to get the forum upgraded and then continue to work on the layout as time permits.

Forgive me if this has been posted before…

1. The ‘Find Members’ button does work for me.

2. I see we have a new Mod (not on Mod list) but no Fanfare on forum. Is it appropriate to offer congratulations (or commiserations)? I fear a Mod’s life is not a n‘appy one.

When you announced the upgrade I was determined not to like the new format. Leave things as they are and stop fiddling, was my main moan.
I have to admit that the new format is a great improvement, and much appreciated.
I am watching another Forum, local to Fethiye, dying a death by apathy; unusual to see any posts at all for days on end, and the ones that do try to keep it alive are often criticised for their efforts.
So, thanks for the upgrade, and thanks for the TLForum.
