Fire damages Ankara airport....

Firefighters have extinguished a blaze at Ankara’s Esenboga Airport that severely damaged the domestic terminal.

The fire broke out in a cafeteria located in the domestic terminal just before midnight local time, later spreading throughout the building. The blaze was brought under control early Monday morning, officials said.

Though the blaze caused no casualties, much of the terminal was damaged. Transportation Minister Binali Yildirim said that the fire hadn’t affected other terminals at the airport.

Officials said that domestic flights would use Esenboga’s other terminals and that there should be only limited inconvenience to passengers and no disruptions to services.
