Finans Bank Account - Interest Rate

Some help please, we have a current account with finans bank, does anyone know what the interest rate is?

probably 0 % if it is a current account, are you sure it is a simple current account ?

Not really sure, do you have any pointers for me so i can check acc, we only have pass books not online banking.

Did you get a hole in the wall card with the account.???
You do not normally get a card with a deposit account.

Sorry, should explain these were accounts that we were advised to open when we purchased our apt, so looking into other options.

Okay so not meaning to sound nosey did you put a fairly substantual amount of money in there on the understanding it would gain you some interest?
Normally deposit accounts are set up with a set amount of days then you can get your interest on say 28 days ,30 days.The interest rate can change monthly.
I should have thought marked on your cards somewhere it would say what sort of account you have.

Hi Maggie, No just enough to pay bills etc, just trying to sort everything out for tax and now looking into opening a better acc for longer term.
