Just sat here drinking a bottle of wine, its one i have never tried before and to be honest its pretty good. That got me to thinking what my

favourite wine is ...........

favourite beer is ...........

favourite spirit is .............

love white zinfandel, enjoy draught boddingtons (rare these days) and my favourite spirit is mount gay rum !

what are yours ?

I'm really plain and boring, it's Black Tower for white wine and Carlsberg for beer/lager. Haven't drank spirits since my 20s.

wine = cannot get a taste for it. Sorry, would love to enjoy it.
beer = not a big lover, do love a cool shandy though on hols, light lager shandy.
spirit = smirnoff, loads of ice, liberal splash diet coke.

Wine - Red, used to love the realy heavy Riojas, Sangre de Torres etc, but nowadays prefer a nice mellow merlot.

Beers - Carlsberg Export Hof, or Efes when in Turkey

Spirit - Vodka, or Gin or Bacardi.

I couldn't believe it Martin, we did a spell of holidays in Barbados and always brought back Mount Gay Rum, and when travelling through Mcr Airport in Oct we bought a few bottle for the apt and one of them is a litre bottle Mount Gay Rum and it's in our cabinet in Turkey.

In my case i mean a nice Claret being the british term for red bordeaux. Fine bit means, i don't like drinking £3.49 gut rot, prefer to spend a few pennies more and get a reasonable balanced wine

when we were in barbados we went around a few of the rum distillerys and plenty of the rum shops, it was that the made me realise that rum was a decent drink and not just pub "lambs"
