Yep, as Hijo says, if it was just a disconnection for late payment it's easy to get it back on if you've paid the outstanding bill and the fine.

Probably the easiest way is to get a Turkish speaker to phone them on your behalf, quoting your account number, and ask to have it reconnected.

Then after all that set up a s/o with your bank no more probs

..totally agree standing orders with your bank ,you can,t go wrong there..we put some money aside and the interest pays all our bills ..so we don,t have to worry about them:31:

Thanks for the info. Have tried to set up standing order but our bank do not do it. But will get a neighbour to help.
