Listening to Hancock ...would you buy a car from this man .. ? let alone put him charge of your sensitive medical data... he is unfit for the job

In fact, Matt Hancock was so acutely aware of the dangers posed by Cambridge Analytica and Facebook that his department co-sponsored the 2018 Data Protection Bill in the wake of the scandal.

Body Language: touching nose indicates Lying

When a person touches his or her nose while making a response to a question, it is usually a sign that the person is exaggerating or lying. Lawyers in the courtroom are quick to pick up on this signal if they see someone on the witness stand touch his nose while answering a specific question.

I always thought it was when their nose grew....either way ... Matt has it down pat ....

Boris Johnson called health secretary hopeless in WhatsApp message - Dominic Cummings

Mr Cummings has now hit back with a 7,000 word blog post, in which he says Mr Hancock's version of events is "fiction".
It includes screenshots of WhatsApp messages, which appear to show an exchange between Mr Johnson and Mr Cummings on 27 March last year.

Mr Cummings highlights the ramping up of testing capacity in the US and criticises Mr Hancock for saying he was "sceptical" about meeting a target.

Mr Johnson purportedly responds: "Totally [expletive] hopeless."

In another message, on 27 April last year, the prime minister appears to call the situation around personal protective equipment (PPE) "a disaster" and alludes to diverting some responsibilities to Cabinet Office minister Michael Gove.

"I can't think of anything except taking Hancock off and putting Gove on," Mr Johnson apparently adds.

And still the 'bombshell' evidence Cummings was providing to the committee hasn't appeared......as far as I've heard.

Anyone heard anything yet about the bombshell' evidence Cummings was providing to substantiate his claim To the committee?

He obviously wasn't waiting for Hancock to give evidence before releasing it, as was suggested, otherwise he would've now released it.

Are the gullible ones who are now/were drooling over his every word as if it's all true (because afterall, what reason would he have to lie), considering they didn't believe him with the Durham trip, still believing him now that he doesn't appear to have provided that evidence?

Cummings, it seems, is just another typical lackey that work/worked for Tories on policy, and now it seems is living up to that Tories policy mantra of "overpromise and fail to deliver" . Ala the evidence ....

If Cummings "promised" evidence hasn't arrived? Maybe it's like Tenpin said ? with his experience being a Tory, that we shouldn't have expected it to arrive ? See, the Tories understand these things, they expect promises to be broken .. based on their Brexit policy, where Boris/ Cummings "promises" on Brexit , like his evidence failed to appear or arrive LOL ha ha . ...

Luckily we aren't reliant on this exTory advisor Cummings and his evidence to show Hancock's is a liar and incompetent . Like Hancock’s pledge to stop the practice of sending Covid patients to Care Homes saying he had 'thrown a protective ring around care homes ... sic As nearly half (43%) in the Queen’s Nursing Institute survey said they took untested hospital patients into their care home before mandatory testing prior to discharge was introduced on 16 April. And a fifth (21%) said they were forced to accept patients who had tested positive for COVID-19.

And as for PPE

National Audit Office (NAO) report released last November into the procurement of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) during the pandemic.

Hancock alleged that the NAO report essentially absolved his department of blame, and suggested there had not been a national shortage of PPE at any point during the crisis. In reality, the NAO report was more nuanced and damning. It said the DHSC erroneously believed that existing stockpiles of PPE would be able to cope with a surge in demand, and only realised by late March to early April that the NHS Supply Chain could not procure and distribute PPE quickly enough.

Consequently, health workers – at least 8,152 of whom contracted COVID-19 and 126 died from the disease – “considered that they were not adequately protected during the height of the first wave of the pandemic,” the report reads.

What’s more, while Hancock claims there was no national shortage of PPE, guidance issued by PHE in April 2020 made it clear that “reuse of PPE should be implemented until confirmation of adequate re-supply is in place… Compromise is needed to optimise supply in times of extreme shortages,” it said.

Ultimately, the relationship between Her Majesty’s Government and the truth is more distant than ever, as today made patently clear.https://bylinetimes.com/2021/06/10/mps-evidence-matt-hancocks-lies-and-failures/

A bit Choice, a Tory calling opposition voices gullible, whose judgement was it to employ Cummings ( let alone Hancock ) and allowed him to form policy ? Who took Hancock into his cabinet ? Who allowed liars ,and fantasist's into the heart of the UK Government ...shocking !! ha ha

Where is his social distancing (and his hand YUK ) ... another Dominic Cummings ... Do as I say, not as I do

I am not surprised the Times reporting another Tory has been caught with his trousers round his legs in an alleged extra martial affair ... And yes it would be hypocritical of his boss Boris to try and sack him, for this scandalous behaviour in an alleged extra martial affair, with Boris himself being a serial cheater...

I'm not that concerned with Hancocks private life ,or his affair ... but do take issue as a taxpayer paying indirectly for it ... with her salaried p/t appointment into the position ( most likely horizontal ) as his "aide" non-executive director to be paid £15.000 to be increased to £ 20.000 depending on performance.. which "performance" he is talking about I am not sure

If this wasn't bad enough, maybe he now should be sacked, with taxpayers having "no confidence" in his integrity ? breaking the rules MPs are bound by, The Nolan Principles These standards – honesty, integrity, accountability, leadership, selflessness, objectivity and openness – represent the behaviours expected of those who serve the public. Which Hancock hasn't adhered to in the past as a Govt Minister. We have seen in the past his alleged nepotism, cronyism and Chumocracy with contracts from his Dept being awarded to his family and his "deniable" local publican friend being awarded a contracts .

We now have his "aide" lover/chum being given a Health Dept p/t appointment as a non-executive director at the Health Department so member of the board. Whilst being a major shareholder and ex director at Luther Pendragon, which is paid to lobby the Health Dept on behalf of clients, both in the Pharmaceutical Industry and Healthcare Org's. This /lover/chum/ lobbyist shareholder now has unprecedented access with her appointment as member of the Health Board and "close" influence in Hancocks Health Department...

PS .... If Hancock wants to burn off excess energy couldn't he just borrow the chancellor's Rishi Sunak Pelton bike or buy a "blow up" and save the taxpayer money ...

Matt Hancock news: Dominic Cummings points to 'conspicuously silent' journalists

Cummings used Twitter to stir the pot, writing: “If you’re new to the media game, an easy way to spot the hacks/pundits Hancock leaks to is by watching those conspicuously silent now …

“The ones who tell the truth about him now – you can be sure he ain’t a regular source for them, & vice versa!”

In a blog post amid the news yesterday, Cummings continued to wage his war against Hancock – writing that the PM thought the Health Secretary was a “catastrophe” but would not fire him.

Lawyers described how Hancock may have broken the law regarding coronavirus restrictions, although he admitted only to breaching guidance. There were also questions about Coladangelo’s appointment to her role in the Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC) in the first place

Cummings also claimed the PM called the track and trace system “like whistling in the dark” and feared the UK would gain the “double distinction of being the European country with the most fatalities and the biggest economic hit”.

"Lions Led By Donkeys" We have the Education Secretary Gavin Williamson upsets some parents for encouraging all schools to take part in campaign

North Korea, has its rousing anthem with a bold opening line: “Let morning shine on the silver and gold of our land.” For Vladimir Putin it’s a chanson-like melody, Where does the motherland begin?, from his favourite Soviet spy film.

And for Gavin Williamson, new “patriotic” song with the chorus line “Strong Britain, Great Nation”.

The education secretary has provoked outrage – both real and amused – for suggesting children should sing the song on Friday to mark “One Britain, One Nation” (OBON) day.
