does anyone know where there is a nice area in fethiye to walk my dog,so he can have a good run and not to many people about?

In that case you've got the whole of Turkey available !

Take a drive out to Karagozler and then around the headland. There are plenty of secluded coves and beaches.

Or, take the mountain road towards the Kaya Valley. There are acres of pine woods that you can walk through with a dog.
