Do UK tvs work in Turkey

I have been considering bringing a flat screen tv with ipod dock to our apartment but Im not sure if it will work in Turkey. Will it pick up their satelite tv? Maybe this is a stupid question but I don't want to risk carrying it all that way to find it doesn't work.

2 owners on our sitesi recently brought out flat screens from UK and said they worked perfectly, they were a bit nervous when they say the baggage handlers flinging bags around while boarding but both tv's arrived unbroken.

Thank you so much that saves me a lot of money buying one in Turkey and they don't have ipod docks there yet so that will save me having to bring a dock over too.

Yes, tv's. video's, dvd's, etc. all work in Turkey (as long as you change the plug or use an adaptor!!!)
