The gap in price between diesel and petrol is narrowing, but motorists who are thinking of switching to diesel cars because of the price at the pump are being warned it's likely to go up again. Sky's Eleanor Jeffrey reports.

What's strange is that in North America diesel is considerably more expensive then gas. Still makes sense to have a diesel car though, as long as your putting enough miles on to reap the rewards.

When i was there in June, it was around 2.95 to 3.10 from memory but to be honest, i do not tend to take too much notice as its a necessary evil! I just know its dam expensive
