It's not rude, it hasn't even scored on a level of being vicious but anyone 'waiting' as the rollout is now well and truly available and has been for several months is a Muppet.
I have a vision of you going out on a weekend, in pairs, knocking on doors and putting the Watchtower through letterboxes, as you wait for a message from God. I've got news for you............ he gave me a message, he says you are a Muppet as well !!

32% of covid infections in our area (Hywel Dda health board) arose in hospitals.

People in Wales are now waiting 4 to 5 years for hip replacements under our socialist paradise. They are certainly suffering at home as some are too badly affected by arthritis etc to get out.

Hip replacements etc are mainly age related as is many of the needs, that put pressure on the NHS and since Wales has a higher proportion of older people ( that also have longer stays, and with cuts to social care places they continue the care in hospital till places found ...Its obvious Wales in comparison with the rest of the UK have a Higher Need .. but the Westminster funding to Wales NHS is based on Population rather than Need ala the Barnet Formula ....

The higher need than the rest of the UK in Wales is bound to give a less superior service whoever was in power in Wales , if it goes on this system of population before need .

NHS Wales is devolved and managed in Wales by our own Health AM.

Personally speaking, I don't want anyone in my space who hasn't been vaccinated. That currently includes my son in law.
No doubt I'm passing people daily who haven't had it but as said, people who I know who haven't...... steer clear.

Muppets are small innocuous cuddly things that do no harm, almost a term of affection in my book, I've seen far more offensive posts on here with no comment.

One of the respected newspapers of England, The Times,, wrote that those who are not vaccinated for the corona virus will not be given life insurance or benefit from some rights.

In the news announced with the headline “There is no Covid-19 vaccine, there is no life insurance”, “Life insurance may not be provided for the elderly or people who can be infected with Covid-19 if they are not vaccinated. It affects 3.7 million people in the UK.”

Pointing out that the insurance companies have not provided life insurance, income guarantee or insurance for serious illness products since the beginning of the epidemic, The Times said, “The three insurance companies we consulted with said that if two vaccines are made, this issue can be resolved. Companies named L&G, Scottish Widows and Guardian 1821 stated that they will impose a two-dose vaccine requirement. Insurers can provide insurance according to whether people are over 70 years old or have diseases such as serious heart disease, kidney failure, asthma by official institutions.

On the other hand, the British Insurers Association also made a statement. The institution explained that “Vaccination should not affect the existing policy, but it can be asked before new policies”.

This could apply to policies such as health cover, income protection, or ASU contracts (accident,sickness, and unemployment) or mortgage protection contracts. You cannot change an existing in-force contract. I wouldn't be surprised if doctors asked for a medical report by insurance companies had to answer a question about vaccination going forward.

It's been reported to day Mula has the most 2 doses of vaccines. They have given the numbers out today. But how many of them are of the 2 doses of water a doctor called it the other day by Sinovac , because there was tens of thousands done but no one will say how many.

To add to the mix, the booster jab has so far been taken by a low number of people and figures are showing that immunity, as expected is falling after 6 months from the last jab of two being given.
As this is mid October, the flu season is about to appear and that vaccination roll out is still relatively low to date.
Putting all that together, we could have hospitals overwhelmed as we reach winter whatever we have been told previously.
Being the devil's advocate, I would not be surprised in the slightest if we do not see another lockdown, albeit the two week 'firebreak' before Christmas.

Our immunity is down to about 30-40% I've just had a blood test, that's with Sinovac. Just had the flu jab first available in 3years.

I had my flu jab last week but I have to wait a month for the Covid booster.
They are so concerned with NHS staff that the boss was literally accosted last week on a corridor at work and offered both the Covid and Flu jab, one in each arm there and then. She took the Covid one but said she woud leave one arm free in case there was any reaction.
She will have the Flu one this week.

I've never had an adverse reaction to a flu jab and I don't know of anyone this year with anything to report so far. The Covid booster seems to be getting good reviews as well. The way the numbers are rising around these parts, I can't wait to get that one.
I have a sneaky feeling that due to the slow uptake, I might steal a week's wait if I go online in the next couple of weeks.
Failing that, I will walk along the corridors of Pinderfields hospital and wait for someone to jump out and jab me !!

I wouldn't wish Covid on anyone but why would I have sympathies for someone who becomes seriously ill, after being offered the vaccine only to decline it?
My sympathies would be for those who they been in contact with said person.

Not sure how it progressed but in Italy, it was made law, no jab.....no job. I know that there were protests but the law is the law. Thinking back, Italy at the start of Covid in Europe was the first to highlight the actual seriousness of it. Everyone followed Italy on tackling it (not very successfully), I hope they follow Italy this time.
