Why is the EU urging Oxford/Astra to publish the contract made between themselves and the EU, hasn’t the EU got a copy it can publish?

Enoch : Pascal Soriot, the French chief executive of AstraZeneca, told newspapers on Tuesday the EU contract was based on a best-effort clause and did not commit the company to a specific timetable for deliveries.

In a further sign of friction, EU officials also said details revealed by Soriot on production capacity and best-effort clause were confidential, and hinted at the possible breach of contract.

Well if Enoch's, Report if true, contradicts and doesn't explain, what Chips said on his post and the report he linked were it said "the EU urging the Company to publish the Contract ....... but they couldn't due to confidentiality clause binds it from releasing the deal's details ...........

Enochs report is saying the EU has said the opposite, the EU supposedly saying "Soriot on production capacity and best-effort clause were confidential, and hinted at the possible breach of contract. "

someone is lying the Company or the EU .... is not an ombudsmen needed but a referee or lie detector lol

Pfizer will after all resume full supply to EU

Pfizer to increase supply on February 15 At the beginning of this week Pfizer / BioNTech has resumed the shipment of vaccines for Covid-19 committed to the EU, which means that the same amount has arrived in Spain as in previous shipments. In addition, the pharmaceutical company has announced its intention to increase the supply to Europe from February 15. "As of the week of February 15, there will be an increase in supply, which will allow us to reach the number of doses of the vaccine fully committed in the first quarter and increase it significantly in the second quarter," they tell Europa Press.
I bet the hundreds who went on the trials for these vaccines are pissed off on how the political bickering continues.
Produce it, dish it out.....it’s not like it’s a product looking for clients, there’s billions of us.
I believe it takes about three months to set up one of these factories & start production, not heard of that happening anywhere

Well let’s just see if the EU takes legal action.

Might not need to, it looks like threats to these big Pharma's seem to work ... "Pfizer will after all resume full supply to EU"

Completely different issue to the Oxford/Astra vaccine.
Pfizer were upgrading plant & gave that as the sole reason.

I don’t need to look anywhere, how long did it take for the EU to pass that vaccine & get it onto the streets? Weeks after the UK.

So the proposal seems to be, some of the UKs produced vaccine should be shipped to the EU. We also have a contract with Oxford/Astra, has the EU read it I wonder.

And still they don't have such a grisly figures we have ....people not numbers

As you have made us a third country the UK contract is between us and Astra Zenca nothing to do with the EU ...So up to Boris to defend the contract if in peril, as the EU is doing for their people against AZ contract .... but it seems our Govt have little concerns on it ( not likely to happen ) , so it seems it's only anti EU you , that either has concerns or want some blame to be laid on the EU ...

Grisly figures? Do you mean the death toll?

It’s not for Boris to defend it, the beef is between the the EU and Oxford/Astra. That might change if Oxford try to break the UKs contract.

Sweden is withholding vaccine payments to Pfizer as it suspects it is being overcharged

Full Story

Extract:
Sweden has said that it is withholding payment to the pharma giant Pfizer while it figures out if it is being overcharged for coronavirus vaccine doses.

On Tuesday, the Dagens Nyheter newspaper reported that Sweden's health agency asked the European Union to ask Pfizer why it was being charged for six doses per vial of the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine, despite only agreeing to pay for five.

I suppose Sweden asking Pfizer themselves is a no, no.

An MP said ... There should be calls to the Conservatives to take action towards a senior Conservative MP who is endorsing the work of anti-vaccine campaigners, spreading disinformation and endorsing conspiracy theories which undermines the national effort to defeat this virus and puts lives at risk. The culprit Sir Desmond Swayne

He has always been an asset to the people he represents... not ......... (the one sleeping during a Brexit debate ) ( the one made a lord )

Sir Des in a speech in parliament on 28 September 2020, Swayne stated that "the policy of the government has been disproportionate in response to this threat. There may be a virus one day that threatens our very way of life, but this is not it, even if we are behaving as if it were."

Most citizens everywhere know what's right or wrong when it comes to vaccinations, there's far more people awaiting the jab than those in denial.
