Connecting flight delays

Hi, we're considering a January visit to Marmaris so no direct flights to DLM but stop overs/connecting flights with Pegasus in Sabiha Gokcen airport. Incoming is fine but return journey would mean a wait time of over 9 hours before the flight home to London. We don't fancy this! Are we allowed to leave the airport and return later or are we stuck there with little to do? Many thanks. Patrick.:smile:

Some great deals on Pegasus. 5th Feb is £70 wire bags, seats and a meal from Stansted.

The train to Stansted is £182.

You can leave the airport but around Sabiha Gökcen is nothing to see and going into the city is a 1hr taxi ride where you may get stuck in traffic.

Off topic: If I have the option I would choose Turkish Airlines & Atatürk Airport any day over Pegasus & Sabiha Gökcen. Especially because there isn't much of a price difference
