Thanks Martin I think this is just what was needed. I think we also need a list of newspapers, people, offices etc that people have written to in the past.

What you have found Martin is just the few.From the area of Side to the Sw of Altinkum and to the North of lstanbul are many more properties that have been siezed without hearing about the buyers problems due to no publicity.
So where has all this buyers money disappeared to while hearing of builders claiming to be in debt.ls just doesn't add up.No one would be in debt if they haven't payed the landowner,the taxes,and other costs.
lt has been stolen and transferred to other sources...simple as that..l do not believe when l hear a claim of debt...no way.

l'll put a guess in with all the stolen stolen buyers money from the builders will probably add up to 100's of millions throughout the whole property industry.Surely the authorities should get involved and bring these crooks to account

Just found out today by speaking to a Turkish guy in the know that 20 properties on the Aydin villa site has had their properties sold 5 times over and the management team have now left without a trace.

No tapu's have been issued,lf they were issued then it could've been just one or two to give the other buyers the impression the tapu's are being given out now as well as they could be fraudulant copies

Bob, another poor site in the camp of dodgy builders which we put our trust in.
As you well know this site is the same set of builders which I used, it is unreal to be honest the enormity of this mess, so much so that regardless of which newspaper any of us contacted, no one seemed to want to know.
The Kevin O'Kane mess is dire but in terms of money lost to folks via this company I would estimate it is on a par.
Sadly I know two families who lost their prized villa on this site, the two families are devastated - understandably, they put their heart and soul into the dream, the furnishings the entire holiday atmosphere.
What should be also remembered is a British man was instrumental in securing sales for this company, he has not been spotted recently however his family continues to work for the rabble, who trade in the background oblivious it would seem to the hurt and ruin they have caused.
If there is a heaven and a hell, I will not rest until this company who ruined so many lives burn and roast in the fires of hell for all eternity.
I am CONVINCED they never had any intentions of ever giving anyone their tapus and only ever released a chosen few to stop anyone thinking something was wrong.
This company and its directors have got immensly rich on the back of foreigners it is uncomprehensible to believe they are broke as they now claim.
How the hell could they be broke as they never paid for anything at any given time.
The debts are immense, the loss to many much worse.
Hell will never be full until each and every one of them is in it, I wish to see them pay for their crimes and will never be fully at peace until I do.

Would it be possible for one of the moderators to er moderate this thread so that it never goes beyond a page long otherwise the list will disappear into history.

I think posts other than a link to a scam should be deleted soon after posting or after they have been transferred to the main page as 2 days from now it will be discussing the weather.

Just my thoughts, maybe others disagree,

Yes i know only too well that the problem is really wide spread, and as severe now as its probably ever been, and i appreciate that the list of thirty odd links on the top of this thread only scratch the surface, but the idea was two fold,firstly if some one such as yourself got a reply from the newspaper and wanted some idea of the kind of things going of, then this thread would be a good starting point, it wont win the fight for you,but at the same time theres enough on it to make someone sit up and think, "theres a story here" without them having to search through all our day to day gossip and chit chat.
secondly, anyone thinking of buying in turkey could read this thread and hopefully guard themself better having been made aware of the kind of things going on.
At the end of the day i could probably find hundreds more threads, but felt a line needed drawing somewhere.

Unless someone does a killing shooting spree, the authorities will just ignore these scams. I'm referring to the gentleman the other week, who had the whole of Britain and across the world in anticipation of his actions.

That would really mean adverse publicity for Turkey.
