Went there a few years back..magical place, loved it so worth making the effort to see and experience this wonderful place... it was a fair old journey from where I was staying that year, decided not to do the balloon trip (which I now regret) if you have have the chance go you will not be disappointed... hopefully I one day will return :)

Top tip. If you visit one of the underground cities do not put your sunglasses on top of your head!

I'm 1.95m tall.........Will I fit?

Was booked to go to Cappadocia in 2020.....but everything got cancelled.

I do not have a head for heights but knew I would regret not doing the balloon. My idea was If I had a problem I would sit on the floor in the middle. No chance. Not enough space. I stood and looked at the horizon until eventually the fear passed and I could look over the side.

Book your balloon flight before you go. We went in April a few years ago & we couldn't get a balloon flight, as they were all fully booked. The place was full of Japanese tourists. We loved it though and will go back when we live in Turkey fulltime
