Voices Newspaper Altinkum Didim Turkey - Queens come in threes!

This is my view, what do you think of this deal

I never trust any business that has these great deals on offer.Let say you buy and get the two free with this purchase and then find out the builder has mountains of depts.,all that will be taken away from you, loosing the 135,000ytl.Also maybe the tapu issue is misused,by selling on the property many times to others, makes the money and then runs off somewhere, leaving you again without any property.
Maybe it is genuine, but l very much doubt it,due to the many stories l have heard and experienced here. You can fool people for a little while, but you cannot fool them all the time.
Over the years of deception has led to people being very suspicious now and l just do not blame them

Always Look on the Bright Side of Life (from Monty Python) words and music by Eric Idle

Some things in life are bad
They can really make you mad
Other things just make you swear and curse.
When you're chewing on life's gristle
Don't grumble, give a whistle
And this'll help things turn out for the best...

And...always look on the bright side of life...
Always look on the light side of life...

If life seems jolly rotten
There's something you've forgotten
And that's to laugh and smile and dance and sing.
When you're feeling in the dumps
Don't be silly chumps
Just purse your lips and whistle - that's the thing.

And...always look on the bright side of life...
Always look on the light side of life...

For life is quite absurd
And death's the final word
You must always face the curtain with a bow.
Forget about your sin - give the audience a grin
Enjoy it - it's your last chance anyhow.

So always look on the bright side of death
Just before you draw your terminal breath

Life's a piece of ****
When you look at it
Life's a laugh and death's a joke, it's true.
You'll see it's all a show
Keep 'em laughing as you go
Just remember that the last laugh is on you.

And always look on the bright side of life...
Always look on the right side of life...
(Come on guys, cheer up!)
Always look on the bright side of life...
Always look on the bright side of life...
(Worse things happen at sea, you know.)
Always look on the bright side of life...
(I mean - what have you got to lose?)
(You know, you come from nothing - you're going back to nothing.
What have you lost? Nothing!)

Always look on the right side of life...

3 lots of maintenance so thats you in for at least £2k a year.
3 lots of water connection.
3 lots of elec connection
3 lots of military permission
3 tapus (we hope)
3 opportunities for goodness knows what else.

NO thanks!

But maybe I would buy 1 for £18k when I get my Tapu.

Yes a strange one because if they sell them at £18k each they would probably sell more so why don't they? They are bypassing people with £18k in their pocket.

If they are 'giving away' 2 of the 3, giving an average of £18K per property, as Martin says, why not sell them each at £18K?
More worrying, if you have a similar apartment nearby, you are not going to be able to ask much more for yours !

I suspect what we are seeing is the true value of what it costs to build many properties in Turkey and just how much the prices have been artificially inflated towards the foreigner. Around 4 years ago you could still buy properties around £12k in the Altinkum/Akbuk area, now if you take that figure and add on 5% each year for inflation that would still only make them around £15k.

Please beware of this offer and the developer Ridvan Esin, Queens apartments were supposed to be completed a year ago, they are beside King Villas near Akbuk. The owners of King Villas have had nothing but trouble from Ridvan Esin since buying. The owners were in formed by esin that esin group faced closure by the banks and if owners did not fly out immediately to obtain their tapus they would run the risk of their villas being claimed by the banks. Some owners had withheld money because of major defects with their villas which esin refused to address. Despite this the owners fearing that the banks would repossess their villas flew out to turkey and paid the outstanding monies. They also paid 500GBP for their tapus , then they were told by esin to sign promissory notes for the next 8 years maintenance or they would not receive their tapus. They signed these notes under duress and later learned that the turkish worded document did not contain the words maintenance fees. Also the sales agreement stated that the costs of all transactions connected with the tapu would be paid by the developer, in spite of this they still were made to pay if they wanted their tapu. The standard of building by this developer is very poor , most villas suffered bad water damage this winter, some of them the coving had fell down the paint had flaked of the walls, wardropes and clothes were soaking and covered in black mould the metal edges that are used when plastering were rusted and falling off, double glazed window units were filled with rainwater, interior doors were swollen with damp. No maintenance was carried out even though he got the money. When we went out on the first of may none of the pools were open and the place was covered in weeds, it looked like a refugee camp and esin refused to fix the water damage to the villas. So if you want this by three buy a Queens Apt

Thank you for bringing this up.lt is very important to tell others not to buy from this so called "to good to be true offer".l knew there was something behind this so called fantastic offer.
The tapu's probably will not be issued and also the banks will seize the properties to pay of the outstanding loans that have not been payed off from the builder.
lf someone does buy into this agreement.Technically that person is really buying a one way ticket to having a nervous breakdown.Please..DO NOT FALL FOR THIS ONE.The authorities should investigate this company,lf it is necessary to prosecute. This will show to others that the authorities are stamping down on these fraudulent ways, and will not tolerate this type of behaviour anymore

Ask for the tapu's first before handing over the deposit.lf the tapu's are not there,,walk away and quickly
