Butterflies in Turkey
l love this time of year, because of the wealth of insect activity taking place.Over the pass week l have counted no more 12 different species of Butterflies.Ranging from very small, like the fritillaries to the swallowtail.
Just this morning walking through a meadow,l saw a Adonis dark blue butterfly, which are very rare in Britian, due to their habitat being destroyed by human activity.
But my favourites are the many variety of the swallowtail species. This is the one of l saw today.

Bob can you buy buddlea shrubs in turkey

l haven't seen any Buddlea's in the sw of Turkey, but maybe in the cooler regions of Turkey you can probably find them.l think they will not survive in the hotter parts of Turkey, which is a shame
l had a beautiful deep purple Buddlea in England that attracted 8 different species of butterflies.

They've got them in several garden centres in the Fethiye area.
