I politely point out i asked if a poster had operated under a previous identity or identities , There are no puns regarding a failure to reply , so if a reply is given , as i asked first , regardless of yes or no , i will then make it clear .

Which part of my answer is not clear?

I told you I have two identities, just two and told you what they were.

You then said I ignored the other part of your issue.....I replied again telling you that if I had one I would have detailed it.

It's impossible to make that any clearer than it already has been made.

Time to move on.

So much for the Brexit scare stories

Apart from a short-lived disruption of trade flows Brexit has been a macroeconomic non-event.
The forecasts of unmitigated gloom, however, have been wrong and deceitful. When economists failed to predict the global financial crisis, they did not so out of malice or political bias. But their Brexit forecasts were not an innocent mistake - nor will they be remembered as such.

Who we are and what we offer

www.eurointelligence.com is a specialist service for news and analysis of the EU and eurozone. With our flagship product, Eurointelligence Professional, we offer filtered and time-saving access to important information from a wide network of national and international sources. No media outlet offers comparable coverage. We also provide our own expert commentary and analysis, and try to do so with a dose of humour. Without it, the eurozone would be hard to bear.

We cover politics, economics and finance. What has distinguished our approach since we started in 2006 is the eurozone-specific viewpoint. We see the eurozone as the core of a future political union. The recent introduction of a recovery fund was sold as a step in that direction, but we see the fund as insufficient and misdirected.

Did you miss the part where he said

I am not saying Brexit will be an economic success, I don't think it will

This is the problem I have reffered to again and again. Show me the GAIN to off set my new loss of freedom and loss of personal protection. Show me the GAIN to compensate for the 130 billion wasted on sorting the mess out and the predicted 200 billion (Bloomberg) that we will spend.

200 billion is a LOT of money we could have spent more productivly

And its obvious there have been many many people wo have suffered as a result of Brexit. Failed buisneses and lost jobs aside, the resurgance of the troubles in Ireland is no small price to pay in my mind nor is the devistating devisions of opinion in the people of the UK

We have paid a very very high price.

Now show me what we paid for.

I think he might have be talking about Bloomberg forecast when he wrote

Well if you have a reduction in trade, you get less traffic flowing ...... Nor is freight needed to flow, when there is a loss within the UK business community, of Firms , entrepreneurs ,who may have closed/given up/ moved abroad/ or set up offices in the EU due to new bureaucracy and costs.

Not to mention the freight companies that have given up on Europe due to extra costs in paperwork and paying 240 EURO monthly for a ECMT permit .....

Also many Haulage firms lost these ECMT international road haulage permits to haul across Europe. And had to apply Last I heard of the 11,000 Hauliers that applied only 1000 had got them at the time ... as since Brexit , we are now classed as a third Country meaning we receive less permits and permission to haul across Europe .... which is sure to slacken traffic flow....

Oh ! and not forgetting the less trade going through our ports of Irish Freight to Europe. Due to the problem with the Brexit WA on NI sea border ... And Southern Ireland bypassing our Ports losing it trade, by the Irish setting up their own direct Routes to Europe ..

So wow ! Yes your Brexit has lessened tailbacks ......... to our loss ... of trade, freight, and hauliers ...well done. Brexiteers

Less traffic... more traffic flow .... laws of traffic management ....

Less trade, less freight , less hauliers. less Traffic ... simples Chips

"In February 2021, the UK’s export to the world were down by 13% (relative to the average of February 2018-20), whereas the January figures showed a decline of 25%. Exports to the EU were down by just over 17% in February, in comparison to over 44% January. The decline in exports to the EU is around twice the decline in trade to non-EU countries."

Brexit: Ireland’s land bridge to the continent boosts air pollution in the UK
Every year, more than 150,000 trucks transport over 3 million tonnes of freight to and from Ireland to the rest of the single market across the UK “land bridge” – an arrangement that involves Irish trucks using British motorways to reach the continent. One route involves goods being shipped from Dublin to Holyhead by ferry and then by road to Dover before being shipped to Calais

Irish freight, British pollution

But for the UK, there is another dimension to the land bridge that has been completely overlooked. All the benefits that come from it accrue to Ireland and the EU, while all the negatives are borne by British citizens and companies.

The 150,000 truck journeys that Ireland’s imports and exports add to the UK’s road network often cause local congestion. Lorries also cause more damage to road surfaces than most other vehicles, with one study calculating that a six-axle, 44-tonne truck is over 138,000 times more damaging to the foundations of a road than a small, one-tonne car with two axles. These extra costs are covered by the UK taxpayer.

For the UK, the land bridge means that a third country is directly contributing to national air pollution, with all the health consequences that entails. Exposure to nitrogen dioxide pollution can trigger and exacerbate asthma symptoms, and it’s also associated with heart disease and birth complications. Inhaling fine particulate matter (often called “PM2.5”, as these particles are smaller than 2.5 micrometres) is linked to a host of medical conditions, including lung cancer.

Who Knows maybe Greta Thunberg will nominate the UK for an award

Why not answer the simple question........
Are you saying that theres no hold ups at Dover because theres less freight going through DOVER? Take onboard not ALL UK exports go through Dover.

But for Brexit there would not have been need for lorry parks.
But for lorry parks there would have been no need to destroy valuable agricultural land.
So where is the good news ??

Ha ha .. What a fantastic excuse for the Brexit loss ,of Southern Irish trade passing through our ports and using our ferry services . Doing it to improve the air pollution ....ha ha better than hiding behind the trade losses blaming it on the Pandemic.

OH ! One fly in that ointment of an excuse ... Brexiteers promised fantastic trade deals from around the World ... but if they ever materialize , the trade would have to reach them ... by plane boat or truck ... with a bigger carbon footprint being further away than our neighbours in Europe ...

So there goes that Brexiteer chance of that award Sorry .... "Greta Thunberg will nominate the UK for an award"
