The difference is, The SNP is the Government of Scotland with law making powers... Labour isn't .. the SNP still don't act by law to stop the intimidating demonstrations outside Hospitals and Abortion clinics by pro- lifers.
Also the Nats have a useless SNP health Minister , who has the control over the devolved Health Boards that cause many Scots Women having to travel hundreds of miles to get an Abortion as many of their local hospital refuse abortions , all done with SNP knowledge, but not acting with the power they have...they can't blame Westminster or Labour for that
....
Labour is in opposition so does not dictate Law .... Unlike the SNP in power for over a decade and done nothing ... ZILCH
But then again you lose your critical thinking .... applying the double Standard becoming chief TLF apologist when it comes to Nationalism . ..
Whilst O'le SNP Nicola ... portrays being for Pro Choice ,, she does nothing and rubs shoulders with the extreme Pro -lifers in America .. seen here with another Republican .. the staunch right winger Alabama Rep Robert Aderholt who backed the overturning of abortion law in the USA
Whilst she shared her concern for what she declares a "human right" after roe vs wade was overturned Activists in Scotland have called out her Nationalist government's stance on women's rights, with one activist calling her as a "disgusting hypocrite".

The effrontery of this man knows no bounds. Does this use of the ministerial jet come under the heading of 'perks of the job'? He should be sent a bill for this trip. Although he would probably offset this against his 'allowable' expenses.

This is a highly visible example of Boris doing just what he wants, when he wants, and leaving taxpayers to foot the bill. Is he that powerful that no-one dares to tell him that he shouldn't spend taxpayers' money for something which is so obviously 'personal'?
On the assumption that he will not be in office after the next General Election (if not before), is he just taking what he can whilst he can? If so we, the taxpayers, are in for a very expensive time. How many other ways is he spending taxpayers' money for his personal gratification to which I have to contribute from my pension?

Well, he can't use the train strike excuse as that was afterwards.
He could have used a car or two as he would need to have his protection officers, but that would have meant he would have to get caught up on the crap roads like the rest of us, so plane it is?
I hope someone is going to go a bit more in depth with this one and give us the actual costs and CO2 for a plane to go and pick him up.
This is where Labour should be digging in.
