That is one set of people should have been on the front seats. The way they have been treated is terrible.

Far be it for me to be a defender of a Gay, Muslim, Tory but there is something that does not sit right with this one.
He could be the a vile paedophile, but the allegation was made by someone who declined to make a formal complaint at the time (14 years ago) even with his parents informed as a 15 year old and it is the word of one against the other with no witnesses of forensic evidence.
It is almost like the Operation Midland, which the useless pal of Boris, Lord Hogan-Howe was in charge of.
All allegations, turned out to be false, no proof and certainly no chance in law of being proved 'beyond all reasonable doubt'. I am seeing the same here and if it had been proved 'beyond all reasonable doubt' they could have hung him from a lamp post for me, but it wasn't and that is my concern.

I watched Panorama yesterday evening and it didn't make for a good watch.
Number 10 was most certainly party central. They had a party to celebrate birthdays, leaving do's and every Friday was known as 'Wine Friday' with a typical gathering of at least 20 people in close proximity.
Bottles were left afterwards all over the place and some of the 'crowd' were often too pissed to go home, so crashed out there.
The security guard was apparently not just upset at their behaviour but on the eve of Prince Phillip's funeral he had had enough and started to tell them they were bang out of order. They just laughed at him.
These are the people who are part of the running of this country, all with the permission of Boris during a Covid lock-down.

Sue Gray report has gone to Boris. Sources, via Journo daughter, say 37 pages of text AND photos.

The UK criminal justice system is simply not fit for purpose. I wonder how Pritty Useless can explain sentences like this one.

So you think this example means the whole system is not fit for purpose?

I could post numerous twitter posts from the CPS where the system does hand out appropriate sentences.

Generally I see loads of cases of suspended sentences for repeat offences of a violent nature, yet people jailed for non payment of council tax. I cannot see the logic in this.

Do you feel that thie was appropriate sentencing? If this was your brother, or your son, how would you feel? How safe does the victim feel not that the culprits are still at large?

No it's not an appropriate sentence...... But judging the system entirely as not fit for purpose is also inappropriate.

Sorry to pee on your chips Tenpin but there are more negative examples of CPS and the justice system than positive ones.
In general, their solicitors are mediocre and much prefer an easy guilty case to a harder not guilty case.
The justice system often fails the victim and gives leniency to the criminal, usually after being bullshitted by a clever lawyer.
Prime example- Katie Price.
At a more local level - Driving whilst disqualified and no insurance often results in a £300 fine for a local unemployed munter.
No TV licence can go to £500 on average!!
Think of the Rochdale grooming Asians, various operations that bombed for CPS and I would say that the entire system needs updating.
I used to work with a bloke during my brief apprenticeship who was a plumber and a crap one at that, asleep most of the time apart from once a week when he put on his best suit and transformed into a MAGISTRATE. I asked how he had become one and was told that he was seen as desirable as he was a leader in the Boys Brigade.
I once almost wet myself in Wakefield Magistrates court just after the introduction of the points system for motoring offences instead of endorsements. The Magistrates found a Speeder guilty and the chief Magistrate said he would be fined £3 and given 60 penalty points ! Easy mistake.

Tory Partygate summary

Whilst the Public ... weren't allowed to visit dying relatives in hospitals or care homes nor allowed to attend the Funeral of loved ones ... forbidden.....by rules made by these same Tory party lawbreakers.. (on restriction on numbers).
The boss has just got in and hadn't seen any of Boris and his crocodile tears.
She was spitting feathers when he said that he attended leaving do's as a working duty !!
During the pandemic, her rules were so strict that even when wearing PPE at work she would have been disciplined if found to be within 2 metres of a colleague without a good reason. She saw 3 colleagues retire but the customary cakes on the last day at work never happened, the celebration at a pub or restaurant was a definite NO and she couldn't attend at her uncle's funeral. She drank wine after work, but in our back garden with no visitors and we had to keep my ma and step dad at arms length whilst doing the click and collect shopping for them as they didn't step out.
She has said that if Boris dares to visit Wakefield before the forthcoming by-election, she is likely to get as near as possible to give him some serious abuse.
Boris- be afraid, be very afraid.
Last time she exploded it was when the Soham murderer, Ian Huntley was taken to Pinderfields Hospital with a suspected Paracetamol overdose. She was working on the ward adjacent to A&E and his impending arrival had already been flagged up to both staff and media
It was early morning and still dark when he arrived with the ambulance and escort.
An anonymous female was heard to shout various profanities with offers of boxes of paracetamol.
All later played back on local telly.
The management didn't know who the 'Voice' was but her friends and colleagues did !
She might make ITV or BBC nationally next time and get an ASBO ?

I understand the importance of raising a glass to a colleague who is leaving, I now feel totally selfish in wanting to see my dad in the 9 months prior to his death, selfish in that I and my sister wanted to hold his hand the night he passed away, selfish in that we only allowed a few socially distance mourners to his funeral, selfish that I drove down from home for 3 hours, spent 45 minutes at the service and drove straight back without being able to hug my sister or dads grandchildren.
All I can now do is ask for forgiveness, and move on because there is nothing to see.

Without being overdramatic in May June 2020 i was hospitalised with sepsis , it affected my liver , kidneys and of course my brain , i was on an Aquarius haemofiltration machine for four days straight , after a month i was discharged , in my ward i saw several men die without their family being able to visit , i did not see Jackie apart ( one day from the third floor window ) when she brought clothes for discharge , those poor men died , i nearly did but was lucky , but their friends and families must have been bereft.... Boris Johnson is the lowest form of scum , educated , wealthy but completely without a moral compass , Starmer was wrong he is not lower than a snakes belly , he is lower and more slippery than a greased pigs belly . Being on the ward i grieved for those men , the toll on the staff was immense as they did all of the caring that family would have done . I will never forget the staff commitment and the sadness of lone men dying without their families love..... Boris Johnson was and is and forever will be a ba$tard of the highest water.
With respect
Steve
