Tory Government to change English voting system after Labour mayoral victories

Switch to first past the post could make it easier for Conservatives to win future mayoral contests

Ministers are pressing ahead with changes to electoral law that could make it easier for Conservatives to win future mayoral elections, as Labour claimed 11 of the 13 posts being contested across England.

They are bound to do it. Any party with a lead so far ahead that they can basically do what they want, will do what they want. Simples.

Interesting that they can find the debt, but not what it's for or who it's owed to.

Normal.... If you have a CCJ against you, the register will only tell you

The date of the judgement against you
The amount of money you owe
The name of the court who issued the judgement against you

The register won’t list the name of the creditor who has taken the CCJ against you.

Even the person involved has to follow it up with the court and request details of the creditor involved in order to determine what exactly the CCJ is for.

Interesting that the Normally partisan press have been carrying negative stories about Johnson for a few weeks now. Are the knives out for him ?

This is a little -recognised danger of a large majority. There have been rumours of a back bench rebellion for a while. Social distancing has kept it down for now but come June 21st (longest day, btw) things may be different.
Please, no new PM, we've only just had the bill for the last lot of wallpaper, if Gove gets in there Mrs G (alias Sarah Vine of Fleet St fame) will have it all off the walls again!

Tory Islamophobia inquiry: Anti-Muslim sentiment 'remains a problem' within Conservative Party, report finds

A 44,000-word report will "make for very uncomfortable reading" among the Tory leadership and party members, its author says.

P.S. they should also check the connections in the Tory Party ( two in the cabinet ) that have connections and support to the Indian PM the right wing Hindu Nationalist Leader Narendra Modi and his pro Netenyahu and anti Muslim bent....

Boris Johnson has officially opened the 2021 G7 summit with a speech in which he claimed nations must work together to “build back better” and “build back greener” from coronavirus.

It comes after the prime minister flew from London to Cornwall for the meeting of world leaders, which has largely been panned as an unnecessary and harmful way to travel for the environment.
