Just got my first book, trying to learn Turkish.

Click here to buy it from Amazon

Saw this book on Azamon, looked pretty good, so ordered it cost only £13.99, the shop price is £19.99

It's very good way to learn names of things, as everything is clearly marked, I think it's a great way to learn.

The book covers categories like;

Human Body, Architecture, Sports, Music, Plants, Transportation....

Here are a couple of pages from the book.

I have a few more books in the way, will try to review them as I get some time.

If you want your own copy, buy it here

At least I am not the only one. I also assumed Mushtaq was Turkish when we met in Altinkum. I am sure Mushtaq will confirm I was a little embarrassed to say the least!!!

Everyone thinks I'm Turkish :D

Really embarrassing a lot of the time, because they all start speaking in Turkish and I have to confess that I only know a few words [:I]

That's why I thought I better learn a bit more then a few words.

I'm from Pakistan, found quite a few similarities in the culture and people, so I feel at home in Turkey :)

thankyou for that russandjan,:( when you end up living here full time you will appreciate anything you can get. The curry was for my wife as she cant handle hot curries as for me there isnt one dish that has broke me out in a sweat yet (although do tend to sweat the next day[:I]).
This week its Chole Masale with Paneer Makhani but still has no way of making naan bread.
