    2021 Holiday Plans

You still need a negative PCR test result within 72 hours of flying just to enter Turkey even if your're double jabbed. That may change in the next few days of course.

No I think that's the current rules - updated this evening.

    2021 Holiday Plans

Just seen this in the small print of the F & CO update - Direct flights can arrive in England from Turkey, but they must arrive at dedicated terminals at Heathrow or Birmingham airports. Different requirements may apply for arrivals into Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. Under Scottish...

    Is Amber the New Red

About time but too late for a lot of people this year I'm afraid! Good look in finding a flight also.

    Turkish visa again.

I can't answer that I'm afraid but the latest Foreign and Commonwealth update (3/9) stated that passengers from the UK require a negative PCR test, within 72 hours of arrival, to enter Turkey.

    Turkish visa again.

    That's what I thought

    Turkish visa again.

Is an HES code required if you're just visting on holiday? I didn't think so.

Question Driving From Antalya to Bodrum

Turkey is staying 'red' for the next three weeks so probably all a bit immaterial now but thanks for the comments everyone.

Question Driving From Antalya to Bodrum

Not exclusively although I have a cancelled flight for September which I either need to re-book or get a refund. I had thought about the carriers that you mentioned, just exploring all options.

Question Driving From Antalya to Bodrum

Just wondering whether anyone has driven from Antalya to Bodrum recently. With all flights to Bodrum cancelled by Easyjet for the rest of the year Antalya seems to be the only resort to which they are potentially still flying to, although not before 1st November. Another up date to the traffic...

    2021 Holiday Plans

Luton to Bodrum schedule cancelled for the rest of the year too. We were due to fly out on 18th September. Oh well there's always next year - hopefully!!

    2021 Holiday Plans

I'm still hopeful that we will get out to Turkey in mid-September but it is getting a bit like the last chance saloon with just one more travel review due before we are scheduled to fly. As it's 12 months since we were there I just want to make sure that our apartment is all ok after the fires...

    2021 Holiday Plans

Neither do I, it beggars belief that India, with all their recent problems with the virus is now on the amber list. Something fishy there i think. Political??

    2021 Holiday Plans

No I think that you can move to next year at no extra cost. I've done that for our April and June flights which were cancelled this year. Fingers crossed that our September flight goes ahead, 50/50 I think at the moment. We'll see what happens at the next review next week.

    Coronavirus

I think that you'll find that your September flight will be cancelled if Turkey remains on the red list as now seems likely. I've already had two flights cancelled this year and was given the option to re-book or a refund. I've moved both flights forward to next April and June at no cost. I have...

    Turkey Reopening..??

Is that into the UK from Turkey or into Turkey from the UK?

    2021 Holiday Plans

Rather surprised to see that there are three TUI flights scheduled to arrive today at Bodrum Milas departing from Gatwick, Birmingham and Manchester. With Turkey still on the red list surely there won't be many passengers on them . Those that are must be desperate for some sun

    2021 Holiday Plans

Living just a few miles from Luton airport it's my 'go to' airport and in normal times police with guns are definitely in attendance!

    2021 Holiday Plans

Yes, I received an email from Easyjet this morning to say my flight in June was cancelled. Will probably move it forward to next June when hopefully things will have returned to something like normality. Fingers crossed now for my September flight.

    Flying to Bodrum

Just wondering whether anyone has flown from the UK to Turkey recently (or made the return trip) and has any good or bad experiences to share. Having had three previous trips cancelled this year I'm hopeful of traveling out to Bodrum in 3 1/2 weeks and would be interested in finding out what's...
